Thank you for your interest in the Elzab e-cash register for the Uber app, i.e., a fiscal cash register in the form of software integrated with the app for settling passenger transport fares.

If you are a driver using the Uber app (and you do not perform rides within the scope of your own business activity) and you have questions regarding e-fiscalization – please contact your Fleet Partner.

Technical information, instructions, and the link to download the e-cash register can be found here. In case of technical problems, please send an inquiry to the email address ubersupport@elzab.pl.

Below you will find basic information regarding e-fiscalization:

  1. Why do I need the e-fiscalization solution created by Elzab?
E-fiscalization ensures that rides completed using the Uber app, carried out under the Uber Partner’s account that is connected to the e-fiscalization solution, can be settled in accordance with legal requirements regarding the settling and recording of passenger transport fares.
  1.  Who is responsible for the lack of a receipt issued during a ride using the Uber app?
The taxpayer, i.e., the Partner, is responsible for issuing the appropriate fiscal receipt. Your responsibilities include, among other things, keeping the e-cash register constantly connected to power and the internet, as well as updating the taxpayer’s data.
  1. Are traditional cash registers or taximeters required to use the Uber app?
The method for fiscally registering passenger transport fares executed via a mobile application is a cash register in the form of software (the so-called e-cash register).
  1. What are the minimum requirements that a computer must meet to operate the e-cash register?
Detailed requirements can be found here.
  1. At what point will the e-cash register start operating?
The e-cash register will start operating after its fiscal registration and activation in the mojakasa.online system. Detailed information can be found in the instructions available here.
  1. Do the drivers cooperating with me need to take any action to use the e-cash register?
Drivers cooperating with your business and linked in the Uber system under your Partner account will be automatically covered by the e-fiscalization solution once the service is fiscally registered and activated by you. The rides they execute will be automatically fiscally registered using your e-cash register.
  1. What information about my company will be included on the e-receipt?
The data found on the receipt is generated based on information from your Partner profile – the “Invoice Settings” tab, and the information you complete during the e-cash register’s fiscal registration. The Partner is responsible for keeping this data consistent with the current factual state.
  1. Are there limitations on the number of transactions handled per single fiscally registered e-cash register installed on the Partner’s computer?
Yes. The limit of 1,500 transactions (rides) per month for a single fiscally registered e-cash register, installed on the Partner’s computer, is intended to ensure the stability and full availability of the system. If the number of transactions significantly exceeds the above limit – please report it using the form. We will contact you to discuss the details.
  1. What are the costs associated with using the e-cash register?
Every receipt costs 0.06 PLN net. You do not incur any fixed fee for using the service. This means that executing, for example, 300 rides per month within your Partner account will involve a fee of 18 PLN net for that month. Uber is not the beneficiary of this fee. It is charged by Elzab for the services rendered.
  1. Will cash payments also be fiscally registered?
Yes, the e-cash register allows for the fiscal registration of all rides executed using the Uber app under the connected Uber Partner account, regardless of the payment method.
  1. Is it possible to install multiple e-cash registers on one computer?
No, each e-cash register should be installed on a separate device.
  1. I use a dedicated device provided by Elzab that operates the e-cash register. Do I need to take any action?
E-cash registers running on a dedicated device provided by Elzab fully retain their functionality. You do not need to take any additional actions.
  2. I have a computer with the macOS operating system. When will I be able to download and install the e-cash register?
At this moment, the e-cash register that is available operates on the Windows 10 operating system. We will inform you if and when an e-cash register compatible with another operating system is made available.

Remember that for technical issues concerning the operation of the e-cash register, all information can be found here. For problems not covered in the instructions, the fastest way is to send your question to the email address ubersupport@elzab.pl.
