To celebrate KFC now being available on Uber Eats in thirteen cities across New Zealand, we’re giving Uber Eats account holders the chance to feast on their family names.

They’ll be wanting to say hey to your long lost pals called Herb and reconnecting with anyone they know with the last name Spice because we’re giving away a $50 Uber Eats promo code to use on an order from KFC via the Uber Eats app to account holders in Aotearoa if their name matches up with some of the magical things often associated with KFC.

We all know it’s the eleven herbs and spices that make the Colonel’s secret recipe chicken the tastiest in town but there are hundreds of Kiwis with these names already using the Uber Eats app and we’re calling on New Zealanders to help us find them all.

We’re not just limiting the $50 Uber Eats promo codes to peopleHerb or Spice – to further celebrate Kentucky, the home of the famous fried chicken, anyone with the name Sanders or Kentucky who has an Uber Eats account in New Zealand can also unlock the promotion, because let’s face it, they are probably distantly related to KFC royalty.

“We know there are more than 400 Kiwis called Herb, Spice and Sanders already using the Uber Eats app in New Zealand – so help us find them. I’m sure they’d be clucking over the moon if you help connect them with a $50 Uber Eats promo code to use on an order from KFC via Uber Eats,” said KFC’s Senior Spice President Ken Tuckie.

The KFC New Zealand Instagram page will have more information on the promotion. People will need to tag their appropriately named friend so they can find out how to claim their $50 Uber Eats promo code before 11:59pm NZDT on 14 March 2021.

“Uber Eats is proud to have thousands of quality restaurants across New Zealand already available on our platform, from homegrown legends to globally recognised brands, so we are delighted KFC will help continue to expand the lineup,” said Uber Eats Director of Delicious, Cole Slaw.

“We didn’t want Kiwis who haven’t yet discovered the convenience of Uber Eats to be pulling their feathers out, so we’ve extended some of the secret sauce to new users. Keep any eye on KFC’s instagram for all the ways to celebrate your name,” said Mr Slaw.
