Uber Eats is teaming up with McDonald’s to bring you the new Cookie Time McFlurry and enable you to get a delicious and unique Kiwi-style treat delivered to your door at the touch of a button.

From today, Uber Eats users can be the first to experience the Cookie Time McFlurry – a unique Kiwi spin on one of the world’s most popular desserts.

The all-new Cookie Time McFlurry is exclusively available on Uber Eats from 28 November to 4 December 2018, before it arrives in McDonald’s stores across New Zealand from 5 December 2018 for a limited time.

The new Cookie Time McFlurry combines one of New Zealand’s most loved treats, the classic Cookie Time Chocolate Chunk Cookie Crumbs with McDonald’s warm caramel sauce and creamy soft-serve.

“It’s awesome to combine two firsts in launching the Cookie Time McFlurry,” says Jo Mitchell, director of marketing at McDonald’s New Zealand.

“Cookie Time cookies are a Kiwi icon and we’ve collaborated to developed a delicious product we know McFlurry and Cookie Time fans alike will love. This is also the first time we’ve launched a product exclusively through McDelivery with Uber Eats. The convenience of delivery is proving really popular and launching with Uber Eats is a great chance for customers to get a Cookie Time McFlurry in a hurry.”

Andy Bowie, NZ Country Manager, Uber Eats says: “The Cookie Time McFlurry is sure to be a hit with Kiwis, whether they want a late night treat delivered to their door or an ideal summer snack dropped off at the beach.

“We see ice cream orders spike during the summer months and on hot days, as Kiwis look to beat the heat with a quick and easy delivery option, so we expect this collaboration to be well-received.”

Uber Eats is available in Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Hamilton, Christchurch and Dunedin. There are now more than 1,100 restaurants on the Uber Eats app across the country including 61 McDonald’s restaurants.
