We have heard from driver partners that short distance trips that take a long time are a pain point.

In response to this feedback, we are trialling a rebalanced rate structure that rewards driver partners for their time on the road, not just the distance they travel.

From 23 July to 16 September, drivers will earn a higher per-minute rate and a lower per-kilometre rate.

The time rate will increase to .42 per minute (up from .30) and the distance rate will decrease to 1.16 per klm (down from 1.35 per klm).

Following the Auckland trial period, we will assess feedback and determine whether to go ahead with the change permanently.
