

Easily decide when and where to drive
You can now access Earnings Trends in selected cities at any time by visiting the Earnings section of the Driver app. Earnings Trends is a new feature that shows you when and where you may be able to earn more while driving*.

Where to drive
Earnings Trends gives you a map of areas where other drivers have been earning the most over the past 28 days. Compare earnings trends for different areas in your city. Darker colors and more dollar signs show areas with the higher estimated earnings for the current hour.

When to drive
Tap on map areas to see hourly charts indicating which times of day earnings are likely to be highest. Earnings Trends can help you figure out which days and times of day are best for earning, so you can better plan your time on the road.

- What is the purpose of Earnings Trends?
Earnings Trends is a new feature that has maps and charts and helps you see the highest earning areas and times of the day in your city over the past 28 days. You can use Earnings Trends to plan your day and week around these trends to help maximise earnings opportunities.
- How does Uber come up with these charts?
Down Small The information is based on trip earnings over the past 28 days. Trip earnings include all of the money you’ve made on trips. Including fares, surge pricing, tips and any direct costs to complete a trip. Promotions that aren’t linked to a Trip Receipt, refund for tolls, or costs for optional services that Uber provides, such as Instant Pay, Flex Pat, or additional insurance aren’t included. These are historical trip earnings from drivers who have been online for at least 10 minutes of the hour. They are not a guarantee of future earnings.
- How can Earnings Trends impact my earnings?
Down Small Earnings Trends can help you decide what times you want to go online and where.
*Estimated Earnings Trends are based on historical earnings over the past 28 days and current market conditions (bar shown in color). Current market conditions data is refreshed every 10 minutes and includes real-time trip requests, drivers online, and surge. Historical earnings are based on trip earnings of drivers who were online for at least 20 minutes over the past 28 days and includes all of the money a driver made on trips, including fares, surge, and tips. Estimated Earning Trends do not include promotions that aren’t linked to a trip receipt, refunds for tolls, or costs for optional services that Uber provides, such as Instant Pay, Flex Pay, or additional insurance. Estimated Earnings Trends are for informational purposes only and are not meant as a guarantee of earnings.
