Canal boats, bikes and “secret” UBERs: your Amsterdam transportation

With Uber Amsterdam in secret testing mode, we’re declaring bikes, canal boats and UBER as the way to roam the streets of our third European city. The stunning capital of the Netherlands has a sleek new addition to its transport market, with a selection of the hottest Mercedes S Classes, Audi A8s & BMW 7 Series that come with the coolest drivers. It’s getting colder and colder on the continent, so we know that Uber is a “gezellig” welcome to these streets.

No surprise then that just as the secret Ubers were getting their cars washed and buying bottles of water, Holland’s wizard of technology, De Wereld Draait Door’s Alexander Klöpping, was checking the UBER app, needing a fast way to get to his next meeting.  Low and behold, the most stylish Uber driver: the Man, the Myth, the Mercedes, Dave Kuipers, had just logged on.  Ten minutes later, Dave was heading to Utrecht, Alexander in the back seat, the youngest Rider // Driver 0 pair yet.

And so it begins! We still have limited availability as we’re frantically testing to offer the most stylish, trustworthy service in the city, but undercover Ubers are on the road, ready for the real pioneers.
