We’re pleased to announce the launch of KLCC Xpress, the quickest and cheapest way to get around Kuala Lumpur City Centre!

Quick FAQs:

Q. What are the details?

A. Between 4PM – 8PM every Mon to Thursday, 11th Jan 2016 – 21st Jan 2016, all rides that both start and end around Kuala Lumpur City Centre and the Bukit Bintang areas, are priced at a flat rate of RM5. This is only applicable for rides that both start and end in this area. For more details including a map of the area – refer to the email (LINK HERE).

VERY IMPORTANT: Please note that the flat fares are for ONE SINGLE STOP ONLY. Please tell riders that there are no multiple stops (or round trips) as this is a high-efficiency product and they can always request another ride when they’re ready.

 

Q. How does this affect partner earnings?

A. This doesn’t affect partner earnings at all! Any trips that end beyond the boundaries are still charged at the standard uberX rate of time and distance*. Also, the standard Tier 1/Tier 2 uberX / uberXL hourly guarantees are still in effect during this period. The only changes you may notice? Demand will be super high during this period – so to make sure you hit the Trips per Hour and earnings threshold to qualify for the incentives.

* Flat fares to KLIA and Genting Highlands are still mirrored as of uberX rates (RM75 and RM140)

 

 

Q. Sounds great! Do I need to make any changes?

A. None whatsoever. It’s all been set up at the back end.

Q. Help! I don’t see the KLCC Xpress uberX view on my rider app!

A. Only riders in the KLCC area can see the view. 😉

 

Q. I think my fare was calculated wrongly (or it was charged on the wrong rate).

A. Please report all fare discrepancies via the “HELP” button on the Uber Partner app or email [email protected] and our Partner Support Representatives will assist you.
