Uber today announced the launch of an On demand cash-out feature for couriers and drivers across Moto, Tuks and Cars to help eligible drivers cash out their earnings any day of the week, once they’ve earned a minimum amount of Rs. 100. 

The new feature aims to help with the financial stability and wellbeing of drivers and couriers, enabling them to cash-out their earnings whenever needed, subject to a nominal fee per transaction. 

With a heightened sense of social responsibility, Uber has implemented many safety measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19 in the country. In order to maintain the highest safety and hygiene standards, we launched a comprehensive set of safety measures such as the Go Online Checklist, a mandatory mask policy for riders and drivers, and an updated cancellation policy.

Additionally, Uber invested LKR 10 million worth of cleaning supplies and protective equipment for drivers and couriers, including masks, sanitisers and disinfectants.
