We’re hearing it more and more these days – life just feels like a lot. Too complicated. Too uncertain. And above all, too expensive.

That’s why at Uber we’re building practical products to make life a little more affordable – and a lot easier.

At Go-Get 2025, we’re launching new ways to help you save on the things you do every day. Whether it’s your morning commute, dinner delivery after a long day, or a last-minute grocery run, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s what’s new:

🏙️Route Share

Our most affordable ride offering yet, Route Share offers pickups every 20 minutes along busy corridors during weekday commute hours with up to two co-riders. And with fares up to 50% cheaper than the cost of an UberX, it’s the perfect way to get to and from work without breaking the bank.

We’ll also explore partnering with employers to help make Route Share eligible for commuter benefits, so your daily ride could get even easier. Hello savings!

🚗Ride Passes

Whether it’s work, school, or the gym, most of us head to the same places every day. To help make your routine more affordable and predictable, we’re introducing two new ways to save on your most frequent trips.

  • Price Lock Pass: For just $2.99/month, riders can lock in a price for a specific route and save up to $50 per month. It’s the easiest way to avoid higher fares due to weather, traffic, or construction. Each pass protects your fare on a selected route for a one-hour window, and you can purchase passes for up to 10 routes every month.
  • Prepaid Pass: Pay upfront for 5, 10, 15, or 20 rides on your regular routes to unlock even deeper discounts. The more rides you buy upfront, the more you save.

And ride passes will soon be available for teen accounts, making the school run for parents and guardians easier than ever.

🛣️Commute Alerts and Hub

Ready to get to work on time every time? Set up AI-powered Commute Alerts to get notified when it’s the best time to request—based on your personal ride history, available drivers, and real-time pricing trends. Just enter your home and work details, and we’ll handle the rest. Starting this summer, all your commute tools will live in the new in-app Commute Hub.

🛍️Uber One Member Days + New Benefits

Uber One is already the best way to save on rides and Eats: $0 delivery, up to 10% off orders, 6% back on rides and more. And we’re adding more benefits to Uber One, including 10% Uber One credits back when you use Uber Rent (including Turo!) or take Lime rides on Uber.

We know our members love to travel, shop, and save, so they’ll get to do all three with our first ever Uber One Member Days, a week-long celebration of epic deals, special promos, and big savings just for members. From May 16-23, members can access our biggest offers ever and tens of thousands of deals across Uber, Uber Eats and our partners. Think 50% off shared rides, 20% off Uber Black, and 40% off Comfort Electric, with new deals each day of the week. That’s just the start.

🛒 Uber Eats Savings Slider

Creating a grocery budget is one thing, but sticking to it is another. Our new Savings Slider is coming soon to the Uber Eats app to help.

When you create a grocery list, Uber Eats will compare prices within the store or even recommend a nearby grocery store with better deals for your items. Just slide to the right to see better deals, confirm your swaps, and save. From weekday dinners to lunchbox snacks, the Savings Slider will help you keep your list—and your spending—in check.

🍽️Dine Out

We love food—whether it’s delivered to your door or enjoyed at the hottest restaurant in town. That’s why we’re launching Dine Out, a new way to discover and claim in-person dining deals directly from the Uber Eats app.

We’re also teaming up with OpenTable to enhance your dining experience. In the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Ireland, and Australia, OpenTable will soon power reservations in the Uber Eats app—giving Uber One members exclusive access to prime tables at the top spots in town. You can also book a ride to the restaurant in one tap, and OpenTable VIPs will soon be able to use their points on Uber and Uber Eats. Dine in, dine out, dine well!

🤖Shared Autonomous Rides

We’ve said it before: the future of transportation is electric, shared, and autonomous. Our next product combines all three! We’re teaming up with Volkswagen to launch the first shared autonomous ride. Starting in Los Angeles in early 2026, Uber and Volkswagen will deploy the fully electric, fully autonomous ID. Buzz AD—offering a new, affordable way to ride that’s shared, electric, and self-driving. We believe autonomous technology will drive a safer and more affordable future for everyone, and we can’t wait to expand access to it around the world.

*Launch dates and locations may vary.
