The Uber Chennai team is proud to announce the launch of UberSUV, a smart new way for you and your group to get around the city!
What does this mean for you? If your group is larger than 4 people, everyone can now ride together in one classy and comfortable ride. Headed to a bar with your entourage? Maybe a family reunion or to stuff that holiday baggage while heading to the airport? The UberSUV option can accommodate up to six people!
How Do I Request a SUV?
Simply slide the vehicle selector over to the “SUV” option on the app.
How Much Does UberSUV Cost?
An UberSUV has a base fare of ₹100 with a rate of ₹2 per minute, and ₹18 per km. The minimum fare is ₹150.
What kind of cars will I get?
The SUV fleet will primarily be made up of Toyota Innovas.
Pro Tip: You can split the cost with your group by using the fare split feature.
