You can now book Uber rides at unbelievably attractive prices whether it’s for one hour or for more. It doesn’t end there, now take an UberHIRE for your inter-city trips as well. Whether you’re making plans for a visit back home or heading for the weekend to Shirdi, Lavasa, Mahabaleshwar or Lonavala, we ensure that within the city or outside, an Uber is by your side at all times.

Don’t forget, UberHIRE is a time-based Uber that’s available on-demand, to let you explore and travel around cities knowing that your Uber will wait for you. With UberHIRE you could have multiple stops and our driver partners will stand by your side as you go about your day exploring.

How it works?

  • Open your Uber app
  • Slide over to the UberHIRE view set your pickup location and request your ride
  • If you are using the updated Uber app, push the UberHIRE card which appears at the bottom of the screen, set your pickup location and request your ride
  • Your Uber will be at your service. You will see your driver’s details straight away, along with the details of your car
  • At the end of your trip, the total fare will be calculated. You can pay in cash and receive an e-receipt
  • The minimum fare for UberHIRE is ₹300

 

FAQs

  • Do I need to enter a destination?

You need to enter a destination when you book an UberHIRE. However, you can decide to update the destination later, as you go from one point to another.

  • Are the city limits different for UberHIRE?

With UberHIRE you can travel anywhere up to a  distance of 250 kms from Pune as long your trip ends within 14 hours. Long distance charges will be applicable on one-way trips ending outside Pune city limits only.

  • Is it a 24/7 available product?

UberHIRE is available from 6 am to 9 pm only, it is not available for overnight trips.

  • What would be the minimum amount I would be charged for booking a trip on UberHIRE?

₹300 + service tax

  • How do I pay for my trip on UberHIRE?

You can pay for your trip on UberHIRE in cash only. (This does not apply to companies registered on Uber for Business with Centralized Billing.)

  • When will long distance charges be applicable?

Long distance charges are applicable only on one-way trips that end outside city limits. The long distance charge is applicable on the distance traveled above 20 kms.

  • What does my price include?

All charges are included in the given pricing, except for city and outstation toll charges + service tax

  • How do I pay for tolls?

Toll charges are paid for by the rider in cash.

  • Can I schedule UberHIRE?

Unfortunately, not at the moment.

  • What type of cars can I expect?

Only the best sedans with top rated drivers.

  • What are the cancellation charges?

You can cancel your car without any cost within 5 minutes of booking (just like you can, in other views like uberGO, Pool, X or XL). Post that ₹100 + service tax would be charged.

  • Will surge pricing be applicable on UberHIRE?
