At Uber, we care deeply about our employees and recognize that everyone has a role to play to contribute towards maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace. As an equal-opportunity employer, Uber does not tolerate sexual harassment in the workplace. We believe in a speak-up culture and encourage employees to speak up when they see behavior that doesn’t seem right. To ensure everybody feels safe to report sexual harassment, Uber enforces strict protection from retaliation policy.
This award is indeed special recognition for Uber India and a testament to our continued commitment to preventing sexual harassment in the workplace. We’re proud of the extraordinary progress that we’ve made together over the last five years in developing a robust and engaging Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) education and awareness program that reinforces our shared values of ‘Stand for Safety’ and ‘Do the Right Thing’.
