We’ve always believed in making Uber a diverse and inclusive workplace for all. We’ve made consistent efforts to ensure employees feel safe and valued to recognize their full potential. Echoing our consistent efforts, KelpHR has recognized Uber among the safest workplaces in India at the PoSH Awards® 2021.

Evaluation parameters included PoSH legal compliance, best practices, active interest in the cause of workplace safety, among other things. Eminent jury members included Mabi Taipodia Jini, Member Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women; Rituparna Chatterjee, Deputy Asia Editor, The Independent; Indira Rangarajan, Digital Content Head, Mirchi; Gauri Das, TEDx Speaker, and Meghana Shrinivas, CEO, TrustIn.

This recognition testifies our ongoing commitment to the prevention of sexual harassment (PoSH) at the workplace. Uber has zero tolerance for such behavior. We have built a transparent workplace atmosphere where every individual has a platform to express their thoughts and to stand up against behavior that falls under misconduct. To ensure safe and reliable reporting, we have strict protection from a retaliation policy standpoint.

Workplace safety plays a vital role in building a productive and efficient workplace. We are proud of the extraordinary progress that we have made together over the past few years in developing a robust and engaging PoSH education and awareness program. And we will continue to work towards making it stronger in the years to come. #APACsocialimpact
