For years, we took you from point A to point B, no matter your destination. Then a few months ago, we introduced HIRE – the easiest way to rent out sedans on distance-time basis.
We followed that up by introducing HIRE GO and HIRE XL for times when you want to hire hatchbacks and SUVs respectively.
Since then, thousands of riders in Delhi have hired an Uber for varied reasons – think festival shopping, family get-togethers, big fat weddings or back to back business meetings.

How it works
- Open your Uber app.
- Enter your first destination.
- Slide over to the 'More' screen and request.
- You will see your driver’s details straight away, along with the details of your car.
- At the end of your trip, the total fare will be calculated and you will receive an e-receipt.
Fare structure
HIRE GO
- Types of cars: Sedans
- Car models you can expect: Maruti WagonR, Maruti Ritz, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i10.
- Min fare (covers 10km and 60 minutes): ₹229
- Per km fare above 10 kms: ₹9.5/km
- Per minute fare above 60 minutes: ₹2.5/minute
- Cancellation charges: ₹80 if you cancel after 5 minutes of booking
- Dynamic pricing is not applicable
- Taxes, tolls and parking charges will be charged extra as applicable
HIRE
- Types of cars: Sedans
- Car models you can expect: Maruti Swift Dzire, Hyundai Xcent
- Min fare (covers 10km and 60 minutes): ₹299
- Per km fare above 10 kms: ₹11/km
- Per minute fare above 60 minutes: ₹2.5/minute
- Cancellation charges: ₹100 if you cancel after 5 minutes of booking
- Dynamic pricing is not applicable
- Taxes, tolls and parking charges will be charged extra as applicable
HIRE XL
- Types of cars: SUVs
- Car models you can expect: Toyota Innova, Honda Mobilio and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
- Min fare (covers 10km and 60 minutes): ₹359
- Per km fare above 10 kms: ₹17/km
- Per minute fare above 60 minutes: ₹2.5/minute
- Cancellation charges: ₹150 if you cancel after 5 minutes of booking
- Dynamic pricing is not applicable
- Taxes, tolls and parking charges will be charged extra as applicable

The city limits remain the same as GO, PREMIER, XL etc across Delhi / NCR. - Can I hire a car at any time of the day?
Yes, you can request a car whenever you want. - What would be the minimum amount I should keep for these products?
The minimum fare on HIRE GO, the cheapest of the three, is ₹229. - How do I pay for tolls?
Toll will be added to your bill directly. - How do I pay for parking?
Parking charges have to be paid to your driver partner separately. - Can I schedule a ride?
Unfortunately, you cannot schedule a ride on these 3 products at the moment.
