We are now making requesting a MOTO even easier with the launch of our latest hyperlocal feature that enables an instant match between rider and driver with a six-digit PIN. With 0 wait time, whenever you see a driver nearby, you can obtain a PIN through the app, hand it over to Driver next to you, and hop on – a trip can be started immediately!
Whether it is beating morning traffic on your way to work or getting home from the nearest metro station, MOTO is there for you. It is the easiest way to get around town for those short, quick rides without burning a hole in your pocket.
It is rather simple and super quick. Here is how you can give it a try.
- Open your app and request an MOTO as you usually would
- When you tap request you will now see two options: ‘GET PIN’ or ‘REQUEST’
- When you tap ‘GET PIN’, you will get a 6 digit PIN that you can give to any MOTO driver near you to start the trip
- You can approach any MOTO driver on sight and show him the PIN
- MOTO driver will input the PIN and start the trip. Just like any other trip on Uber, you can see your driver’s license plate and contact info once the trip starts
“Am I done?”, you ask. You sure are. We did tell you this was going to be quick.
