Whether you have multiple business meetings to attend or day long festive shopping plan, you can now keep Uber for however long you want and do it all.
What is HIRE?
HIRE is a time-based rental service for local city travel that allows you to request the best sedans (HIRE X) or premium hatchbacks (HIRE GO) and keep them with you, for multiple stops and for however long you need it for. The service is available for cash only trips.
Why should I request a HIRE?
You should request a HIRE when you need to get a lot of work done at multiple destinations and need your car to wait for you while you get things done. You can keep your Uber for however long you need it for. It just feels like your own car with a personal chauffeur giving you the freedom to have a car at your disposal.
What is the fare structure?

How to calculate your fares?
If you book an HIRE for 50km for 5 hours (300 mins) in Jaipur, the estimated fare would be as follows:

How it works?
- Open your Uber app and enter your final destination
- Swipe right to the 'More' section to see the UberHIRE view
- Ensure cash is the payment option and request
- Confirm the booking
- Your Uber will be at your service. You will see your driver’s details straight away, along with the details of your car
- At the end of your trip, the total fare will be calculated. You will need to pay in cash and receive an e-receipt
- The minimum fare for UberHIRE is ₹300

- Do I need to enter a destination?
- Yes, you do need to enter the destination before booking
- Are the city limits different for HIRE?
- The city limits for HIRE are the same as those for uberGO/X. You can book HIRE for things to do within the city only.
- Is it a 24/7 available product?
- Yes, you can request an HIRE whenever you want
- *Is there a time limit for keeping HIRE with me?
- The maximum trip duration allowed on HIRE is 12 hours. All your trips should be completed within 12 hours.
- What are the cancellation charges?
- As part of a limited period introductory feature, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
- What does my price include?
- Includes fuel charges & taxes. Tolls have to be paid separately to the driver if you cross any.
- How do I pay for tolls?
- Toll charges are paid to your driver partner directly in cash.
- Can I schedule HIRE?
- Unfortunately, not at the moment
