How to claim your trip
- Tap the menu in the top left of the Uber app and select ‘Wallet’.
- Select ‘Add Promo Code’ at the bottom.
- Add the promo code dublinhub2.
- Navigate to the Ride home screen and enter the pick-up/drop-off location for yourself or the person you are booking for. Remember, the trip must start or end at one of the vaccination centres listed above.
- If you are booking for someone else, you can change the “pickup location” address to that of the person you are booking for.
- You will see the promotion applying before you request the trip.
- Confirm your trip.
The offer will be valid for up to two trips, up to €20 per trip, per person.
Things to know
- You will be able to claim your trip between Wednesday, 1 September and Friday, 31 December 2021.
- Trips must start or end at one of the vaccination centres listed above.
- The offer will be valid for up to two €20 trips, i.e. up to €40 per person.
- Uber will pay the trip fare up to €20. If you go over, you will be charged the difference. Tips and cancellation fees are excluded.
- The promotion applied will be visible as a green bookmark above and next to the upfront estimate shown.
- The promotion is only valid for the first 5,500 riders.
- The promo code will cease working at 23:55pm on 31 December 2021.

Tips for safe riding
We are especially thankful to drivers whose efforts are essential to keeping the country moving during this challenging time. We ask that you please keep your driver’s safety and wellbeing in mind by:
- Wearing a face covering or mask at all times, as legally required (unless you are exempt)
- Washing your hands (or using hand sanitiser) before entering the vehicle
- Giving your driver space by sitting in the back seat on the left-hand side of the vehicle
- Covering your mouth or nose if you cough or sneeze (please take any used tissues with you)
- Opening the window to improve ventilation
Drivers have been given the same reminders to ensure trips are as safe as possible. Drivers are asked to disinfect their cars between trips, paying special attention to frequently touched areas like car door handles and seat belts.
And, in line with Government guidance, we ask that if you feel sick (e.g. if you have a mild illness, respiratory symptoms, or a fever of 38C or above) please stay at home and phone a GP. If your symptoms get worse, call 112 or 999.

- Where can I redeem the offer in the Uber app?

Yes, this offer is valid for two free trips, so could be used on trips to AND from one of the listed vaccination centres, for your appointment on or before 31 December 2021.
- Can I use the Uber rides with other promotions?
No, only one promotion can be used per trip. If you have multiple promotions on your account, the highest offer will automatically apply.
- Are any types of trip fare not covered by this promotion?
Please note the Uber promotion does not apply to cancellation fees or tips. It also does not apply to trips that do not start or end at one of the vaccination centres listed. You will see the promotion applying before you request the trip. If you don’t see this, make sure the trip is starting at or ending at one of the vaccination centres listed above.
- How do driver earnings work when this promotion is applied?
Drivers receive the same fare on these trips as they do on regular Uber journeys. The promotion on these fares is being funded by Uber, as we pay part of the fare on your behalf.
- What happens if I need to request a refund for my trip?
If you need to request a refund for your trip for any reason, you can follow our standard in-app help refund process.

Terms and conditions
a) This Promotion is open to all riders in Dublin (the Republic of Ireland) aged 18 years or over who have an Uber account and are compliant with the Uber User Terms, except employees of Uber, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of this Promotion.
b) The Promotion code for Uber Rides will only apply on Uber rides in Dublin starting or ending at one of the applicable locations listed below:
- Aviva Stadium
- UCD O’Reilly Hall
- Citywest Convention Centre
- Croke Park
- National Show Centre
c) The Promotion code for trips on Uber Rides can be redeemed against up to two rides in Dublin to or from the applicable locations, up to the value of €20 for each ride. The Promotion code for trips will be valid for the first 5,500 riders, or 11:55pm on 31 December 2021, whichever is earliest.
e) To apply the Promotion, apply the Promotion code in the Uber app before requesting your trip. The Promotion will only apply where Uber Rides are available, check the app for availability of rides.
f) If a ride costs more than €20, you will be liable for the full remaining balance of that ride, which shall be charged to the payment method selected.
h) The promotion cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions. The promotion does not apply to cancellation fees, or tips. Uber retains the right to amend or cancel this promotion at its discretion without notice.
