Uber Indonesia’s Marketing Head to Drive Brand to New Territory

We warmly welcome Melda Rachman to the Uber team as Head of Marketing for Indonesia, starting in March 2018.

Melda brings 13 years of solid experience, marketing smarts, and passion to Uber, having led successful marketing and branding campaigns throughout her career at Unilever Indonesia, Axis Telcom and most recently Danone Aqua. Educated at Wichita State University, Melda’s professional experience has helped sharpen her skills in identifying market potential and segmentation, as well as repositioning and creating entirely new brand positions.

Commenting on her appointment, Melda said: “Uber is a place of great energy and innovation, and I can’t wait to jump in and start the next chapter of my career in this fast-paced company, working with all the driven and talented individuals that keep this place moving.
