1. Signing up

Download the UberEATS app from Google Play (Android) or iTunes App Store (iPhone).

Existing Uber user: Simply sign in with your account details. You’ll find your profile and payment details already there upon logging in to UberEATS.

New to UberEATS and Uber: Sign up for your account and follow the steps to enter a valid payment method. Note that upon entering your payment method, a HK$8 dollar automatic transaction may take place. This is an authorization hold to make sure your credit card is valid and the amount will be automatically refunded in full. The refund processing time varies depending on your bank’s policy.

2. Promo code

Got a promo code? Here’s how to redeem it in the app.

Redeeming the promo code:

  1. Open the UberEATS app.
  2. Tap on the profile icon, and then tap on “Promotions”.
  3. Enter the promo code above and tap on “Apply”.
  4. Promotions that have been successfully saved to your account will show up on the Promotions page, and automatically disappear once the offer has been used by you or has expired.
  5. Next time you place your order, your saved promotion will automatically be applied. Note that promo codes can only be used for their stated number of orders, and any remaining value will not be carried over.

If there are multiple promo codes saved to your account, please note the following:

  • The latest promo code saved to your account will be used first.
  • Referral offers are always used first.
  • Promo codes cannot be combined and used on the same order.

Other restrictions apply:

  • Promo codes are subject to limited availability and redeemed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The promotion must be used before its stated expiry date.
  • Setting up multiple accounts to make use of promo codes is against our terms and conditions.

3. Delivery address


Enter your desired delivery address to view the list of restaurants available to you. Remember to enter your floor and unit number here.

We currently deliver to districts along the MTR Island Line, most of Kowloon, Shatin, and Tsuen Wan. If we don’t deliver to your area right now, fret not – we’re expanding fast!

4. Placing order

      1. Make sure your delivery address is correct and complete with unit number. Put “lobby” if applicable.
      2. Choose your desired restaurant and dishes.
      3. Tap on “Checkout” to head to the “Place Order” page.
      4. A valid promotion saved to your account will be used on this order. The final discounted amount will be shown on your email receipt once your meal has arrived. If there are multiple promotions saved to your account, they will be used in the order described in section 2.
      5. To confirm order, tap on “Place Order”.

5. Payment and picking up your order

Once you’ve placed your order, you might receive a SMS notification from your bank letting you know that you’ve been charged the full amount, before any promotions are applied. This is simply an authorization hold and might not reflect the actual amount that you will be charged after promotions have been applied (if any).

After you have received your meal, you will be charged the actual amount, and this will be stated on the email receipt sent to you. If you notice any discrepancy between the in-app receipt and your email receipt, the billed amount on the email receipt takes precedence.

You will receive a notification on your phone when your food is arriving. Your delivery partner might also call you to remind you of the order pick-up. Please note that your delivery partner will only wait for 10 minutes upon arrival at your pick-up destination.

6. Support

We’re always here to help! If you have any questions about using UberEATS, tap on the profile icon and head into “Help”. There, you’ll find answers to many frequently asked questions. Remember to thoroughly look through this before reaching out to our support team. It is important to select the right channel to make sure we are providing you with the most suitable assistance.

For enquiries after you have placed your order, but before it has been delivered to you:
Contact our live support team by tapping “Contact Support”. Select the category that applies to your situation. Live chart is available everyday from 10am to 11pm.

For enquiries before an order is placed, or after you have received your food:
Contact our support team by tapping on the profile icon, and then “Help”. Select the category that applies to your situation. Our support team will get back to you as soon as possible.
