Who is eligible to be a driver-partner?

As long as your friend is a permanent resident of HKSAR with a full driving licence, and he/she has a 4-door vehicle manufactured in or after 2007, he/she can apply as an Uber driver-partner.

If your friend already has an Uber rider account, please remind him/her to register with another email address, or else he/she will not be able to register

My friend is interested but doesn’t have a car, what should he/she do?

How to activate Uber driver-partner account?

After registration, your friend has to upload his/her HKID, driving licence, vehicle registration document and proof of insurance. The account will then be approved and activated in 1 to 2 business days.
