Poon choi literally means “a basin of food” in Cantonese. With seven centuries of history in Hong Kong, the dish is reminiscent of festivity and family gatherings. This gigantic casserole consists of ingredients like abalone, seafood, various meat cuts, and vegetables. The poon choi is typically picked up from the restaurant in a large basin and re-heated, to be served to guests at home.

This year, UberEATS is delivering the tradition to your doorstep, straight from its place of origin in the walled villages of New Territories!
