Uber Eats Hong Kong is always on the hunt for the city’s best local delights, and now the food-delivery app is adding Hong Kong’s one-and-only home-brew Lai Yuen Restaurant to its line up of 1,400 restaurant-partners! Celebrating this exclusive partnership are two limited-time only activities and offers that make enjoying meals with loved ones at the comfort of your home even more amusing.

As the revival of Hong Kong’s once extremely iconic amusement brand Lai Yuen excites its fans with the grand opening of its first-ever “Cha Chaan Teng” restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui in June last year, the restaurant has been offering refreshing whilst nostalgic delights to its customers that celebrates “Simple Happiness”.  Signature choices include Fried Noodles in Supreme Soy Sauce with Deep-fried Chicken Drumstick, Roasted Whole Chicken with Glutinous Rice, French toast on Frying Pan, to name a few. As Uber Eats continues to embrace “Right Food Right Now”, the partnership between the two is one that will join forces to bring the taste of simple joy right to your doorsteps.

To commemorate this collaboration, “Lai Yuen Restaurant x Uber Eats Limited Edition Tableware”* will hit the streets on April 7th! The outside of the tableware is styled joyfully in red, featuring Lai Yuen’s iconic “Tiger Cub” mascot. You will find a small pouch in between the Uber Eats and Lai Yuen logo, which comes with a gold piece of token, adding a touch of amusement-park classic. As you unfold the tableware, it transforms into a placemat filled with prints of iconic food and drinks from the restaurant, in a fun and modern style, covered in Uber Eats’ green palette. On the right, you’ll find two pockets with a pair of custom made bamboo spoon and chopsticks inside. And last but not least, we have imprinted “Bringing Joyful Delights to your Doorsteps” on the placemat to remind our fans that we are always here to bring great treats to you in just a tap of a button.

The first Lai Yuen Restaurant has been opened in Tsim Sha Tsui in summer 2017, and celebrates the same “Simple Happiness” through different classic favourites.
