Earn points
Earn one point for every trip you take. You can get bonus points when you drive during specific hours*. The more trips you complete, the more points you’ll earn. You accumulate points during program periods that last 3 months: November to January, February to April, May to July, and August to October.

Your Uber Pro tier of this program period is based on the total number of points accumulated over the previous Uber Pro program period while maintaining your star rating above 4.75 and cancellation rate below 4%.

Extra Destination (Only applicable to Gold and above tier driver-partners)
When a long trip takes you to a low-demand area, you’ll have 15 minutes to set a destination after finishing the long trip. This destination won’t count towards your 2-time daily limit – helping you to travel to high-demand areas easily for more earning opportunities. Checking trip duration and direction(Only applicable to Platinum and Diamond tier driver-partners)
When you receive a request, you’ll see how long your upcoming trip may be, and the direction you’re heading. For more function details, see the Uber Pro section of the driver-partner app.
Priority airport rematch and Airport Return Trip (Only applicable to Diamond tier driver-partners)
As you’re completing your airport drop-off, the app automatically looks for another rider near you, so you have a higher chance of getting a pick-up at the airport. If another rider isn’t found, you’ll be placed at the front of the virtual Airport Queue for trip requests automatically. Priority in-app Support (Only applicable to Diamond tier driver-partners)
When you reach out to platform support through the in-app Help section (excluding hotline service) , our support team will prioritise your request and help you resolve platform issues more quickly.
Shell Fuel Card Offer (Not applicable to Uber Taxi)
Within the Uber Pro program period, driver-partners will be able to enjoy Shell fuel card offers based on their Uber Pro status. The higher your tier, the more you can save on gas!
*Eligible Assist driver-partners can enjoy HK$7.3 off per litre even with Blue status.
*The last day of the previous month will be the cutoff date for Uber Pro tiers.
Shell Fuel Card LPG Offer (Only applicable to Uber Taxi)

- 1. How does Uber Pro work?
With Uber Pro, there are four status tiers: Blue, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. To reach Gold, Platinum or Diamond tiers, you’ll need to do two things:
(i) Earn points: Each tier has a certain number of points that you’ll need to reach in order to get access to that tier’s rewards. You earn points by completing trips.
(ii) In order to maintain Gold, Platinum or Diamond status keep your rating to 4.75 or above and cancellation rate to 4% or below.
Points are accumulated over fixed three-month program periods (for example: 1 August to 31 October). When you accumulate enough points, you’ll unlock that tier. You’ll keep access to those rewards for the remainder of the three-month program period and for the next three-month program period so long as you continue to meet the rating and cancellation rate criteria. Points will then reset at the start of each new three-month period.
- 2. How do I earn points?
You earn points by completing trips. You’ll earn 1 point for every trip, and during select times you’ll earn 2 points.
- 3. What are the extra earning points timeslots?
Earn extra points for each trip you complete during the below hours:
Monday - Thursday： 5am - 10am, 5pm - 7pm and 9pm - 11 pm
Friday ： 5am - 10am, 4pm - 7pm, 9pm - 11pm
Saturday：3am - 7am, 9am - 7pm
Sunday：3am - 7am, 9am - 1pm, 4pm - 6pm
- 4. Does a trip need to begin or end during the extra earning points timeslots to receive extra points?
If you complete a trip that starts or ends during the extra earning points timeslots, you will receive extra points for that trip.
- 5. Do I receive a point for trips where the rider has cancelled?
You only receive points for trips that are completed. If a rider cancels your trip, you won’t earn points for that trip.
- 6. Do I need to pay to take part in Uber Pro?
No, it’s completely voluntary and free for Uber driver-partners to be part of the rewards program. All driver-partners are automatically enrolled in the Blue status tier when they begin driving with Uber and you can opt out at any time.
- 7. How many points do I need to reach different tiers?
Driver-partners need to reach certain number of points in the fixed three-month program periods in order to unlock that tier while keeping rating to 4.75 or above and cancellation rate to 4% or below. All driver-partners qualify for Blue status regardless of how many points they have or what their star rating and cancellation rate are.

- 8. How long do I get access to the rewards?
If you unlock a new tier, you’ll get the opportunity to access that tier’s rewards right away. You’ll keep access to those rewards for the remainder of the 3-month program period and for the next 3-month program period (you should continue to meet the rating and cancellation rate criteria) subject to the conditions of the particular reward.
- 9. What happens if my cancellation rate or driver rating drop below the eligibility requirements?
If your rating drops below 4.75 or your cancellation rate rises above 4%, you will automatically be placed in the Blue tier. You’ll only have access to Blue rewards. As soon as you meet the rating and cancellation criteria again during the 3-month program period, you’ll gain access to whatever tier your points qualify you for.
- 10. What happens if I earn less points during a 3-month period than I had earned the 3-month period before?
How many points you earn during each three-month period determines what rewards you can access for the next three-month period.
- 11. How are cancellation rate and driver rating calculated?
Your cancellation rate looks at the number of trips you cancel compared to the total number of trips that you accept in the last 100 trips requests (including the Reserve trips you cancel within 1 hour before pick up and the Trip Radar Taxi trips you cancel after accept). It does not include trips where the rider cancels. See more about the cancellation rate here.
Your overall star rating is an average of individual ratings provided by riders from your past 500 trips (or all trips if you have completed less than 500 trips).
If you receive a rating of 4 stars or below on a trip for a reason that is out of your control, such as bad GPS route or traffic, the rating will be excluded from your overall rating. See more about ratings here.
- 12. How do I get access to my rewards?
Some rewards (like seeing the trip duration and direction) are applied automatically as soon as you unlock them. To redeem other rewards (like Shell fuel discount), head to the Uber Pro section of your driver-partner app.
- 13. How can I see my points?
You can keep track of your points and rewards in the Uber Pro section of your driver-partner app.
- 14. Do I earn more points for completing trips with certain ride options?
You will receive the same number of points per completed trip regardless of what type of trip.
