Tips and guidance for filling in your tax profile can be found below.
Due to the new ‘Reporting Rules for Digital Platforms’, Uber requires merchants to fill in a tax profile to continue operating on the platform. To update your tax profile, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Log in to Uber Eats Manager
Step 2: Select ‘Payments’ and then ‘Invoice Settings’
Before filling in your tax profile, please indicate whether you run a business as an individual or an entity.
Legal Entity
Choose ‘Legal Entity’ if you run a business via a company (for instance, a limited liability company, a corporation, a partnership, a trust, or a foundation). This is the case even if you are the sole owner of the company.
See the ‘Legal Entity tax profile guidance‘ section below for guidance on how to fill in a ‘Legal Entity’ tax profile.
Individual
Choose ‘Individual’ if you run a business on your own (for instance, as a private entrepreneur / a sole trader) without a company.
See the ‘Individual tax profile guidance‘ section below for guidance on how to fill in an ‘Individual’ tax profile.
The information we require from an individual and an entity is slightly different, so please make sure to indicate the correct legal form of your business.
