Terms and conditions:
• Valid between September 15 th 2017 through September 14 th 2018 (11:59) in Egypt.
• Valid between October 1 st 2017 through September 30 th 2018 (11:59) in Qatar, Saudi
Arabia and UAE.
• To redeem the new user promotion code, you must:
o Have a smartphone with GPS capability and an active internet connection
o Download the Uber app for iPhone, Android or Windows Phone
o Register with Uber
o Take a trip

New users must enter their promotion code before requesting a ride in order to receive
the discount
• The maximum value of the promo code is EGP 10 in Egypt, QAR 20 in Qatar, SAR 15 in
Saudi Arabia and AED 20 in UAE (New user promotion discount cap). If the fare
determined for the ride is EGP 20 in Egypt, QAR 40 in Qatar, SAR 30 in Saudi Arabia and
AED 40 in UAE or above, the maximum value of the new user promotion discount cap
will be applied. In case the fare determined is lower, the ride shall be discounted 50% up
to a maximum value of the new user promotion discount cap.
• The entire redeemable value of the promotion code must be used on the first journey
and any unused portion of the voucher will be forfeited.
• The remaining balance of the fare, after the discount is applied, will be charged to the
registered Mastercard card.
• The promo code cannot be transferred, duplicated or sold and there is no cash value.
• The promo code, respectively, can be used in any location Uber operates in Egypt,
Qatar, Saudi Arabia or UAE.
• Successful redemption of the promotion code is subject to the availability of Uber
partner-drivers at the time of requesting.
• When using the ‘Split Fare’ feature, the new user promotion codes will be taken from
the account from which the request was made. The discount will be off the entire fare
before the split.
• The new user promotion code is available for new Uber customers only and can only be
combined with the Mastercard Punch card promotion. It cannot be combined with any
other codes or promotions
• Offer valid only when using Uber in the same local country of your Mastercard card. (for
example: Your Mastercard has been issued in Egypt and you are using Uber in Egypt).
• All three discounted rides must be taken before 11:59 P.M. UAE Time on July 15 th , 2018,
or user shall forfeit the remaining discounted rides.

• The Offer is valid through December 31 st 2017 (11:59 PM). Launch dates may vary upon
your bank’s participation & country.
• Every 6th ride booked by the rider will be discounted up to EGP 35 in Egypt, QAR 40 in
Qatar, SAR 35 in Saudi Arabia and AED 50 in UAE. If the fare determined for the ride is to
EGP 35 in Egypt, QAR 40 in Qatar, SAR 35 in Saudi Arabia, AED 50 in UAE or below the
ride will be free. In case the fare determined is higher, the ride shall be discounted up to
a maximum value of EGP 35 in Egypt, QAR 40 in Qatar, SAR 35 in Saudi Arabia and AED
50 in UAE. The customer will be responsible for the remaining fare (which shall be
charged to the registered eligible Mastercard card).
• Only rides paid for with an eligible Mastercard card shall be eligible for this promotion
and only such rides will count towards the sixth discounted ride (including the sixth
discounted ride).
• Redemption of the free ride can be availed only when using Uber in the same local
country of your Mastercard card. (for example: Your Mastercard has been issued in
Egypt and you are using Uber in Egypt).
• The 6th ride must be taken before 11:59 p.m. on December 31 st 2017, or user shall
forfeit the discounted ride.
• Mastercard and Uber reserves the right to stop or amend the promotion at any time.
Any amends to this promotion will be communicated to the Promotion webpage on the
Uber website and on the Uber in-app promotion details.
