Create an Uber Business Profile to separate your personal and business travel. Your Business Profile will allow you to connect a corporate credit card and email address within your Uber rider account, to help you manage your business trips and track your expenses.
What are the Benefits of an Uber Business Profile?
- No paper receipts. No more crumpled travel expense receipts in your wallet!
- Charge the correct card. Never accidentally pay on your own dime for a company ride.
- Add expense memos and project codes. Track the reason for your ride.
- Work receipt = work email. No more searching for the right receipt to expense.
- Weekly or monthly travel reports. Save time with business travel summaries.
How do I create a Business Profile?
- Open the Uber app and tap the top left corner and navigate to ‘Settings’.
- Click on ‘Settings’ followed by ‘Add a Business Profile’.
- You will be prompted to add you work email and to select your preference for weekly or monthly billing summaries. You can also add a corporate credit card to your account to make sure the right card is debited for your trips.
- You can also link your account to Concur, Expensify, Chrome River, or Certify expense management programs, according to your businesses’ preferred software.
- That’s it! Your Uber Business Profile is set-up.
