Longer lasting
The coloured surge areas remain on the map 3 times longer, giving you more time to get to those locations. More stability means more opportunities to earn extra and when Surge applies, you will always see the Surge icon when you receive the trip request.

Based on your location
When you’ve reached a surge area, that extra amount will be added to your next trip, no matter where you pick up a rider. On some trips, this can mean that you earn more while the rider pays the same fare. This can also mean that on other trips your earnings remain the same while your rider pays more. Surge amounts will be added to your next trip as long as you remain online and accept your next trip request.
