As you know, entrenched interests are trying to limit your transportation options by aiming to stop Uber from operating in Montreal. As legislators gather together to discuss this fall’s legislative priorities, it’s time to show your support for ridesharing to those headed to the National Assembly!

Here’s How To Help

Write to your Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) and tell them how Uber has made a difference in your life. Tell them why you support a safe, reliable and affordable transportation alternative to get around Montreal.

As we recently saw from a court ruling in Canada, Uber is operating legally and is a unique model distinct from the taxi industry. New regulations are needed to support the ongoing growth of ridesharing in Quebec.

While regulations are being discussed, we are asking Minister of Transport, Robert Poëti and relevant authorities to stop limiting choice. We believe the right path forward is a collaborative approach to develop common sense regulations for ridesharing.

More than 300 cities around the world are benefiting from ridesharing: from creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs for driver partners, to reducing drunk driving, pollution and traffic congestion.

It’s time to make your voice heard and make sure Uber is here to stay!
