In the Driver’s Seat: Thanking Uber Partners in Etobicoke

Uber has come a long way in Etobicoke since the launch of uberX in the GTA over a year ago. Starting with only a small group of driver partners, there are now more than 400 that call Etobicoke home and we’re thrilled to see that number continue to grow.

As we’ve grown, the role Uber driver partners play in the community has become increasingly important. Not only do they have a flexible opportunity that allows them to support their families – they help people get safely to where they need to be.

We recently hosted an event for Etobicoke driver partners and their families to celebrate them and all they do for the community. They are part of a community of over 16,000 driver partners across the GTA who provide over a million rides per month. We’re really excited to see what the future holds!
