All we can say is the data speaks for itself—you really can get *almost, almost* anything delivered with Uber Eats… it all comes down to what you’re craving!

Over the last year, we’ve seen some mouth-watering trends across the country…

  • 🍟In fries we trust: No meal’s complete without a sidekick! Canadians have shown their true love for the fried potato, with french fries reigning as the most popular side order, followed by naan bread and, of course, poutine.
  • 🤝The perfect pairing: Move over, wine and cheese—Canadians have discovered new favourite pairings! The top pick this year? A pack of coolers and popcorn as the ultimate duo. Other popular pairings in the top five include beer & wings, hard lemonade & steak, coolers & hot dogs, and beer & hamburgers.
  • 🌶️Feeling saucy: If there’s one thing Canadians aren’t, it’s plain and boring. They’re all about bold flavors, with creamy garlic topping the list as the go-to condiment, followed by hot sauce for some heat and spicy mayo to round out the top three.
  • 🌹Roses are red and romance isn’t dead: Attention, love birds—no more excuses for forgetting anniversary flowers! With a variety of floral options on Uber Eats, you’re covered. Roses reign as the top delivery choice, proving romance is alive and well.
  • 🍌Banana bonanza: Curious about Canada’s favourite fruit? It’s bananas! This sunny snack is flying off the shelves, taking the crown as the most-ordered grocery item on the platform.
  • 🥂In high spirits: Canadians aren’t messing around when it comes to what they’re sipping on — vodka and whisky are the undisputed favourites, taking the top two spots for most ordered alcohol.
  • 💅Very mindful: In 2024, Canadians kept the tips flowing, with Canadians showing appreciation for great food and service. Victoria claimed the top spot for tipping, followed by Oromocto and Red Deer.
  • 🫢Backup plan: When plan A doesn’t pan out, Canadians know they can count on a plan B. The emergency contraceptive pill made the top ten list for the most ordered non-food items this year.
  • 🌎A world of flavours: In a country full of different cultures, Canadians have access to an array of cuisines right at their fingertips. This year’s most ordered were Indian, Chinese, American, Japanese and Italian.
