We teamed up with belairdirect to celebrate Montreal’s ‘Entertaining Drivers’ and invited them to a special movie screening.

March experience

This time, we headed to Montreal to celebrate top drivers by hosting a private movie screening for them and their families. 

Not only have these drivers received high numbers of “Entertaining Driver” compliments, some even have an extra special talent!

Meet the drivers

Sam, driver since December 2016

Sam, his wife, and their 2 children moved from Morocco to Quebec in 2015. 

A magician for over 25 years, he performed for many audiences— from cruise ships to festivals around Europe and North Africa. 

Sam has been driving with Uber since December 2016. What does he love most? Doing magic tricks during or after his rides, meeting new people and making his passengers happy through his art.
Jerone, driver since July 2017

Originally from Haiti, Jerone has been singing since she was a young girl. In addition to taking care of her daughter and driving with Uber, she also sings in a group and even writes her own songs. 

Jerone enjoys being able to chat with her riders, and sharing life tips with one another. Some lucky riders even get treated to an in-car performance! 
Julian, driver since May 2017

When he was 8 years old, Julian enjoyed mimicking his mother playing guitar, and to sing with her. Passionate about music ever since, he expresses himself through his art, as it brings him a sense peacefulness. 

Julian left Colombia in 2012 along with his wife and their daughter. He’s been touched by the kindness and the warm welcome of Montrealers.
