Cheers to 2016! With a few New Year’s Eve celebrations under our belts now, we’ve noticed some patterns in the way people around the world come together to ring in the New Year. From Bangalore to Los Angeles, we all move in similar ways.

This year, we learned a few new things—like which cities head to the party earliest (Chicago!) and the most popular time to head home (around 1 AM if you were in Bangalore, a little after 2 if you were in Toronto). We also learned where partiers kick up their heels the longest—plenty of folks were still making merry at 5 AM in Singapore and London.

Thank you to the millions of riders and hundreds of thousands of drivers who let us be a part of your evening. We’re excited about what’s in store for 2016—we hope you’ll join us for the ride.
