Now that UberSELECT is live in Brisbane and the Gold Coast we want to provide some information for you to make the most of the UberSELECT platform.
How do I know if a trip is UberSELECT?
When you receive an UberSELECT request, you will see UBERSELECT instead of UBERX on the request screen. On the Android app, this appears at the bottom of the screen. On an iPhone, this appears at the top of the screen.

Do I have to do anything differently on UberSELECT trips?
You have access to the UberSELECT platform because you are one of Queensland’s highest rated driver-partners and you offer a premium vehicle. Riders who choose to pay a premium for UberSELECT will have high standards. To maintain your great rating and access to UberSELECT we recommend you:
- Make sure you car is always spotless. Inside and out
- Make sure you dress appropriately. A suit is not necessary, but smart casual or better is a great idea
- Always have water and mints where riders can see and access them
- Make sure your car is free of clutter. Nobody wants to see tissue boxes, good luck charms, or a cluttered dashboard
- Open the door for the rider if it is safe and practical to do so
