We’re excited to announce the trial of a new Uber ride, Pool Chance, which will cut costs for Brisbane and Gold Coast riders when they share their ride with others heading in the same direction. 

Pool Chance will give riders the chance to save up to 30% more than compared to a similar  Uber trip if they share their ride with others (saving more when more riders join their trip).

Plus, to celebrate the trial launch, every rider who gives Pool Chance a go in Brisbane and the Gold Coast will save at least 15% – regardless of whether their ride is shared or not – until June 24. 

And with last week’s introduction of Uber Pass, members will save an additional 10% on all Pool Chance trips.

In addition to helping riders save money by sharing a ride, Pool Chance can also help reduce the time driver partners spend waiting for their next trip. It can also help reduce congestion and lower emissions by helping reduce the number of cars on the road.
