A dog. A car. A delivery mission like no other. To celebrate one of its biggest category launches to date, Uber Eats and Petbarn have teamed up to introduce Australia’s first driving delivery dog.

Bodhi, a professionally trained pup who stars in the hit soap Neighbours, took the wheel of a custom-modified vehicle to deliver a Petbarn order to a furry Uber Eats customer. The ambitious stunt, created to announce Petbarn’s arrival on Uber Eats, marks a major moment for both brands, and for Aussie pet lovers.

“This is hands down our most adorable delivery yet,” said Lucas Groeneveld, Regional General Manager of Retail, Uber Eats Australia. “Petbarn joining the platform is a game-changer for pet owners, and we wanted to launch it in a way that really captured attention and showcased the lengths we’ll go to so Australians can get almost, almost anything, now including all your pet essentials.”

The campaign highlights Uber Eats’ ‘Get Almost, Almost Anything’ promise, now extended to include a wide range of Petbarn essentials – from dog food and flea medication to toys and treats – all available for delivery through Uber Eats.

“Petbarn and Uber have enjoyed a long-standing partnership, offering our customers a guaranteed two-hour delivery service and fulfilling millions of orders nationwide. Expanding our relationship to Uber Eats was a natural next step, making it even easier for pet parents to get what they need, when they need it,” said Lucas Barry, CEO of Greencross Pet Wellness Company. “Pets bring immense joy to our lives, and we are committed to making their care more accessible and convenient.”

Trained by Australia’s leading animal expert Luke Hura – whose credits include Red Dog, Oddball, and Neighbours – Bodhi’s starring role also brings attention to the joys and benefits of well-socialised pets. In a country with over 5 million dogs, the campaign offers a fun and memorable way to highlight how positive pet experiences start with the right care, support, and enrichment.

“This campaign was more than just fun, it was a reminder of what dogs are capable of with the right guidance,” said Hura. “Training helps dogs thrive, stay safe, and stay with their families. And yes, it can even get them ‘road-ready’ in a controlled environment.”

Petbarn is now available on Uber Eats from locations across Australia.
