Your restaurant’s visibility is set up dynamically to ensure that your customers enjoy good food quality and a reliable delivery.
If your restaurant is located too far away from a customer, they may not see it on their Uber Eats feed and order attempts may come up as “too far to deliver”. We do this to minimise the risk of orders going undelivered and to create the best experience for you and your customers.

Why has my visibility been reduced?
If you are getting a notice that your restaurant visibility has been reduced, we have likely noticed a high number of orders missed (i.e. not accepted), cancelled or inaccurate orders at your restaurant.
Missed or cancelled orders are a painful customer experience which reduces the likelihood of a customer placing another order from you and also increases the chance that they might leave the platform entirely.
Inaccurate orders may be due to missing or incorrect items or the order being wrong. These issues create negative eater experiences.
You can see your missed or cancelled orders via Order History in the Uber Eats Orders tablet app. You can also find this in the Orders tab, or see your inaccurate orders rate in the Analytics tab in Uber Eats Manager.
How can I restore my restaurant’s visibility?
Your restaurant visibility will incrementally recover when you demonstrate that you are able to fulfill your demand by consistently accepting orders and not subsequently cancelling them.
Try these top tips
- Check your preparation time in Uber Eats Manager to ensure you’re setting the right expectations for your customers and delivery people.
- If you have a lot of orders coming through at once, you can enable Busy Mode on your tablet to add a temporary buffer time to all your orders.
- Consider reviewing your opening hours via Uber Eats Manager, and if you have a one-off change to your schedule you can use Holiday Hours to adjust your restaurant times temporarily.
