Moving riders through the city with ease
We’re teaming up with Transport Canberra to provide riders with an affordable and convenient way to move around the city during the 2019 National Multicultural Festival.
Riders can simply tap a button and request an Uber trip to and from their closest Late Night Rapid bus stops at eligible times on 15-16 February 2019.
How does it work?
Riders in Canberra will get $10 off up to two Uber trips taken to and from Late Night Rapid bus stops within eligible zones. This rider discount will not affect trip earnings.

How will I know if I’ve received a Late Night Rapid trip request?
The request screen will show you a Late Night Rapid trip, and you’ll have the option of accepting, like with a normal trip request.
What rates do driver-partners get for these trips?
UberX time and distance rates apply to these discounted trips.
When do Late Night Rapid trips run?
The eligible time for discounted trips in Canberra are from 2pm Friday 15 February 2019 to 3am Saturday 16 February 2019, and 2pm Saturday 16 February 2019 to 3am Sunday 17 February 2019. Riders are eligible for fare discounts during these times. Expect demand to be high during these times as crowds flock to and from town.

Eligible zones
Riders are eligible for fare discounts between:
2pm-11pm from eligible ACT suburbs to the Late Night Rapid bus stops, within the same zone.
9pm – 3am from Late Night Rapid bus stops to eligible suburbs, within the same zone as the bus stop.
