⚙️ How to request an autonomous vehicle
You can directly request an AV ride by selecting “Autonomous” in the product selector within the Uber app — available only in select areas and times.
You may also be matched with an autonomous vehicle when requesting UberX or Comfort, as long as you’re traveling to and from selected areas and using the latest version of the app. Once matched, you can choose to accept the ride or decline and continue searching for your preferred ride type.
While some rides may be fully autonomous, others may have a specialist riding along. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a revolutionary ride in a WeRide autonomous vehicle. These fully electric rides are powered by 100% renewable energy, offering a sustainable and comfortable travel experience.
Built with safety in mind
