Get a license in Prague
With millions of riders all over the world, Uber is a great way to make money — but first you need a license to operate in Prague.
Apply for your license
1. Get a Yellow card
Apply for a Taxi driver license (Yellow card) at an office in the city of residence. For your application, you will need an ID photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm). You will receive the card in 2-3 weeks.
2. Register your car
Register your car in the Taxi Vehicle Register and get a window sticker with taxi register number. You can handle this personally at the Prague City Hall. For registration, you need to fill in a simple form and pay a fee of CZK 500.
