How Flex Pay works
1. Open the Driver app
Tap the 'Earnings' tab under the Uber Driver app menu.
2. Cash out your earnings
Tap 'Cash Out'.
3. Complete transfer
Your transfer will be completed on the same business day if you cash out before 8pm EST. After this time, it will be received the next business day.
What else should I know?
Eligibility
To qualify for Flex Pay, you must have completed at least 25 Uber trips and your Uber account must be active for at least 14 days since your first trip with Uber.app de Uber.
Cost for transaction
Each transaction has a cost of ₡ 480. The transaction charge will not be reflected immediately, it will be a weekly accumulation of transactions completed from Monday 4 am to the following Monday 3:59 am.
Deposit delay
Flex Pay payments will be deposited into your preferred bank account in the following 24-48 business hours .

- Why am I not eligible?
Al ser una prueba piloto, la función se estará habilitando gradualmente a los Socios Colaboradores que les corresponda. Being a pilot test, the function will be gradually enabled to the corresponding Socios Colaboradores. This function is exclusive for Socios Colaboradores who have received this email directly from Uber and who have more than 25 trips completed at the moment they were activated as Socios Colaboradores in the Uber app.
This function may not apply to those Socios Colaboradores who have a lease on the car they have registered in the Uber app.
- What can be paid out to me?
Up to the maximum amount per week, which is ¢ 130,000.
- Is there a fee to use Flex Pay?
Yes, there is a cost of ₡ 480 per transaction that will be charged once a week.
- Can I request payment whenever I want?
You can request a transfer once per day. Any payments from the past week that you don't cash out by Monday at 4am will be deposited into your bank account by the end of the week as usual.
- What about weekends and holidays?
Banks do not process payments on weekends and bank holidays. You'll be able to request your payment during these periods, but there will be a delay in receiving the funds.
- Is there a limit to how much I can cash out?
You can cash out at most ¢130,000 per week in eligible fares. Also, the minimum amount to withdraw is ¢4,525.
- How often will I be charged the cost per transaction of ₡ 480?
The transaction charge will not be reflected immediately but will be a weekly accumulation of transactions completed from Monday 4 am to the following Monday at 3:59 am.
