Merchant Operations Manager, Co-marketing & Affordability, Merchant Growth
About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in owning Taiwan’s Offers performance and growth, overseeing the co-marketing deal desk, and managing co-fund planning and governance. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong cross-functional communication skills.
This is not a quiet role. The Co-marketing and Affordability workstream sits at the intersection of merchant revenue, consumer promotions, and P&L governance — with high stakeholder complexity (AM team, Consumer Ops, COps, Finance) and real commercial accountability. If you are looking for a role with clear playbooks and low ambiguity, this is not it. If you want to own something meaningful, build your commercial muscle, and operate with high visibility, this is one of the best.
Your Impact in Role
- Own Taiwan’s Offer attainment — monitor Offer adoption, engagement, and churn across merchant segments. Drive growth and mitigation actions, producing weekly and monthly performance reviews for leadership.
- Oversee the co-marketing deal desk and resource planning — a critical lever for merchant growth — by leading resource planning with the Consumer team, ensuring campaigns are well-structured and tailored to merchant needs, and tracking co-marketing effectiveness through data-driven analysis.
- Lead quarterly co-fund budget allocation & review by developing and refining methodology, aligning with business leads, and confirming budgets with key stakeholders — ensuring co-fund spend maximizes return and meets P&L objectives.
- Develop analysis to support business decisions on Offers and Affordability — synthesizing data insights, experiment results, and market signals to surface actionable recommendations for platform growth.
- Partner cross-functionally with Account Management, Consumer Operations, Product, COps, and Martech teams to align strategies with overall business goals, and communicate regularly with senior leadership on the performance and direction of Offers and Affordability initiatives.
The Experience You'll Bring
- Commercial acumen & stakeholder management: Partner closely with the Account Management team to drive Offer attainment through co-marketing frameworks and high-impact campaigns. Strong commercial sense and clear communication across stakeholders is essential.
- Analytical thinking & creative problem solving: Proactively identify opportunities to unlock Offer growth for merchants, size opportunities in ambiguous environments, and translate analysis into clear strategic recommendations that drive action.
- End-to-end data & performance analysis: Own the full analysis lifecycle — from data pulling with SQL to performance tracking and insight development — to inform strategy and surface what matters.
- Executional excellence: Manage and deliver end-to-end projects with autonomy across multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in developing co-marketing campaigns and resource planning for business partners
- Strong SQL and analytical skills
- Experienced in sales enablement, go-to-market strategy is a plus.
