Flexibility works
More than 180,000 Canadians, including British Columbians, choose to earn flexibly with Uber.
From students earning between classes and parents fitting in trips while their kids are at school to retirees needing supplemental income or social interaction and others seeking to add to their primary employment income, people are using Uber’s technology for flexible earning opportunities.
In fact, 86% of drivers and delivery people who use Uber say schedule flexibility is important when choosing work. In a time of rising costs, it’s now more important than ever that the government preserves the flexibility inherent in app-based work for British Columbians.
