UBER DELIVERY TIP POLICY – SEATTLE
January 11 / USFares do not include gratuity, nor is receiving a gratuity guaranteed. Rather, Delivery Recipients may, in their sole discretion, decide to provide you with a gratuity. Uber will not take any portion of your gratuity except as described in the Uber Fare Addendum. If any gratuity is remitted using our application, it will be included with other monies you may be entitled to receive. Delivery Recipients cannot provide a gratuity before the delivery is completed and can change or remove the gratuity amount after the delivery is completed, except for (i) deliveries involving orders arranged directly with a merchant that may elicit a gratuity and facilitate delivery through the Uber Direct platform and (ii) deliveries fulfilled directly by merchants. Gratuity amounts are preset to 10%, 15%, 18%, 20%, 25%, or 30% of the order total, or $2, $3, $4, $5, or $6. In the event that a Delivery Recipient’s order total changes, this will impact the preset gratuity amount presented to the Delivery Recipient. Delivery Recipients may also leave a custom gratuity amount and Uber does not limit the gratuity amount a Delivery Receipt may provide, except that gratuity amounts on the Uber Direct platform are limited to $1,000 per delivery. Uber does not discourage or prohibit Delivery Receipts from providing a cash gratuity.
