Support for Ukrainian drivers – become a driver on the Uber platform in the Czech Republic to start making money

We want to use the technology that we have, to bring real help to the people who seek earning opportunities. That is why we want to make the onboarding process for Ukrainian drivers as simple as possible and provide access to earning opportunities as smoothly and quickly as possible.
What is Uber?
Uber is a global mobility app that allows you to make the most of your time on the road and make money when you want. Read about the requirements, sign up as a driver and start earning right away.
Uber is available in 4 locations in the Czech Republic:

Why should you start driving with Uber?
– You can quickly join the platform and start making money right away
– You can start your own business or, if you don’t want to, you can start working with one of Uber’s partners who will help you with the formalities
– Either way – You are the boss. You can drive with the Uber app day or night and fit driving around your schedule
– You decide how much you want to drive
– Just tap and go. You get turn-by-turn directions, suggestions to help you make more money, and 24/7 support.
How can you join the platform?
1. Sign up online
Got an email address and a smartphone? Great, now tell us a bit more about yourself and we’ll get you started.
2. Upload your documents
There is a list of required documents you need to upload:
- Valid ID or passport (minimum age is 21)
- Valid driving license
- Taxi Driver License
- Apply for a Taxi driver license (Yellow card) at any municipal office. For your application, you will need an ID photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm) and your criminal record which you can obtain online here. You will receive the card in 2-3 weeks.
- A driver profile photo:
- Must be a forward-facing, centered photo including the driver’s full face and top of shoulders, with no sunglasses.
- Must be a photo only of the driver with no other subject in the frame, well-lit, and in focus. It cannot be a driver’s license photo or other printed photograph.
3. Find a fleet partner
Partner will help you with settlements, documents, and finding a car that meets standards in the Czech Republic. You can still sign up even if you don’t have an eligible car right now. Check out our vehicle solutions and list of recommended partners.
4. Activate your account
If you’ve completed all the above steps, congratulations! You’re ready to activate your account and start driving.
