JUMP – Meet the Team

Did you know that Uber’s Emerging Tech Teams are working on some pretty cool things? Over the next five weeks, we want to introduce you to some of those teams, share with you what they are working on and what it’s like to work on the team.

What excites you about being in the JUMP team?

“I have been with Uber for just over three years, but for the last twelve months, I have been working on the JUMP team.”

“The most exciting aspect of JUMP is that we’re operating in one of the fasting-growing industries of our generation – And this is just the beginning. People are becoming more passionate about transforming cities and making them more sustainable, and I love being a part of that.”

Describe a typical day?

“No two days are the same, and we’re always tackling new challenges in creative ways, this makes our job extremely rewarding. I come into work feeling energized and excited because no other company is working on solving similar challenges at such a large scale.”

What do you take away at the end of a busy day?

“One of the few things that remain consistent day-to-day is knowing that I’ll always work with intellectual, driven, and passionate individuals from all over the world, And these have become cherished friendships to hold onto for life.”
