Drivers must also pass a background screening and have at least two years of licensed driving experience.

  • The Uber app will notify you when someone nearby requests a ride. When a request comes in, you’ll see the passenger's pick-up location. After you reach the pick-up location, wait for the passenger to hop in, confirm their identity (the app shows their name and sometimes even a photo) , start the taximeter and start the ride. At the end of the ride, you will need to input the price from the taxi meter into the app and this is what the rider will be charged and pay via app. After each ride, both the driver and the passenger can rate each other. These ratings help maintain quality and provide feedback for improvement.

  • During the launch, our Taxi product will be available. Riders will be able to book a ride, and when you pick the passenger up, you will start your taximeter. Upon completing the trip, you will enter the fare from the taxi meter into your Uber Driver application. We will explore the options of expanding our products depending on marketplace needs.

  • The first step is to download the Uber Driver app and enter your basic information, as well as phone number and e-mail address. The next step is to decide whether you will drive for a fleet partner or through your own craft (S.P.) After you’ve done that, start with uploading necessary documentation for you and for your vehicle. If it is the latter, some additional documentation will be needed for upload in the app. The documents are usually approved within 24 hours, after which you are ready to drive!

  • You can drive for Uber with your own car, or with a one rented from your fleet partner or a third party.

  • While you can drive as long as you like, it’s worth noting that your earnings will vary based on the demand for rides, and how long you’re willing to drive. Drivers are absolutely free to decide when and for how long they wish to be online on the platform, therefore they can match their supply hour with their goals. The price of each trip is defined by the taxi meter in your vehicle.

  • Uber has a limit of maximum 12 hours for being online in one day. That means Uber will put drivers offline after that period of time. Also, Uber may require drivers to take breaks after being online for a certain amount of time. For example, if you're online for too long without taking a break, the app might automatically log you out to prevent driver fatigue.

  • Your schedule is up to you. With Uber, you can get paid to drive when you want and manage your own hours. Uber is a great way to be your own boss.

  • The ride assignment process is designed to ensure efficiency, minimize wait times for passengers, and maximize earnings for drivers. The driver can accept or decline the ride request.

  • After each ride, you can rate your driver, and drivers can rate you. This two-way feedback system can impact the quality of service.

  • When you finish a ride, the first thing you need to do is to input the price from the taxi meter in your car into the Uber app. After that, you can go to Waybill in your Uber Driver app and check how much exactly you made for that trip!

  • Uber pays all earnings to the fleet partners and Individual operators accounts. Payments are processed weekly, and the money will usually appear in your account every Tuesday or Wednesday. If you are driver working under a fleet partner, you will receive payments from your fleet partner.

  • If you have a question regarding the app, your earnings, fares or something else, you can always contact our customer support via the Help segment in Uber Driver app.
