You already drive like a Pro. Now it’s time to earn like a Pro, too.
Earn 1 point for every trip you take. You can get bonus points when you drive during peak hours. The more you drive, the more points you’ll earn. You accumulate points during periods that last 3 months: November-January, February-April, May-July, and August-October.
Give great service to riders
Your status is based on the total number of points accumulated over the previous cycle while maintaining certain criteria that vary from city to city. Check the Driver app for more information.
Points help determine if you're Blue, Gold, Platinum or Diamond. The higher your status, the more rewards you can get.

- What is an Uber Pro status?
Your Uber Pro status determines the volume & quality of rewards you can access, which is based on your activity driving on the app, and the number of trips completed. There are four statuses with increasing rewards, beginning with Blue, then Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
Once you reach a higher status you unlock access to the rewards at that status, as well as keeping access to the rewards at the lower levels.

- How did I get my status?
You earn points during fixed 3-month periods. At the start of a 3-month Uber Pro period, your status is determined by the points you earned in the previous 3-month period. At any time, you can move up statuses and unlock more rewards if you earn enough points for the next status and maintain certain criteria.
- How can I increase my status and unlock more rewards?
You can increase your status for the next 3-month period by meeting the requirements. See the requirements you need to reach the next level in your Uber Pro dashboard here.
At the start of a new period, your status is based on the total number of points you accumulated over the previous 3-month Uber Pro period, while also maintaining certain criteria that vary from city to city.
- How is my star rating calculated?
Your overall star rating is an average of individual ratings provided by riders from your past 500 trips.
If you receive a rating of 4 stars or below on a trip for a reason that is out of your control, like a bad GPS route or traffic, the rating will be excluded from your overall rating.
- How is my cancellation rate factored in to my status?
If you’re a driver with Gold, Platinum, or Diamond status and your cancellation rate rises above a certain level, you won’t be able to reach a higher status by earning more points. Check your Uber Pro dashboard for more information. You will maintain your current status and have access to your current rewards.
If your cancellation rate rises even further, you can lose access to your Gold, Platinum, and Diamond rewards immediately. Check your Uber Pro dashboard for more on how to re-enable your rewards in this situation.
