Inappropriate Behaviour

At UberEATS, we’re committed to supporting our partners by providing you with the feedback needed to improve your delivery ratings. We want to enable you to deliver a high quality of service through the UberEATS platform which is why we share any quality related feedback with you.

Inappropriate Behaviour Complaint

What Does An Inappropriate Behaviour Complaint Mean?

A consumer or restaurant partner let us know that they felt uncomfortable during one of your recent deliveries. This can include inappropriate comments or unwelcome advances upon or after delivery. We realise that some comments can be taken out of context, but UberEATS takes these complaints seriously and can even lead to your partner account being permanently deactivated.

How Can I Ensure This Doesn’t Happen Again?

The best way to avoid an Inappropriate Behaviour Complaint is to not say or do anything inappropriate to consumers or restaurant partners. Even if you think a comment might be harmless, some consumers or restaurant staff can be easily insulted, concerned or take some comments the wrong way. Remember, the way to get the most out of the UberEATS platform is to provide the best service, and to do this, our highest-rated partners act professionally at all times.

What’s Next?

By sharing this quality feedback, we hope that we’ve helped you to understand the expectations our restaurant partners and consumers have for our delivery partners.

If you continue to receive negative feedback from consumers or restaurant partners, your account will be reviewed and you may lose access to the platform.

Note: We expect some negative feedback over time for all our partners as this is the nature of the business! If you believe you received this complaint unfairly, please don’t worry, we’ll only take action if we see a pattern of undesirable behaviour. The primary purpose of this message is to share constructive feedback with you to help you improve.
