- What are Reserve Airport Pick ups?
This is a new feature that enables Riders to Reserve a pick up trip from the Airport. Riders will input their flight number into the Uber App, which will provide real time updates if the flight is delayed.
- How will I know it’s an Airport Pick up?
The Reservation request will have the details of the Airport pick up, including the expected flight landing time.
- What do I need to do before the trip?
Similar to Reserve trips, you will need to go online 60 minutes before a Reserve Airport pick up. You can choose to take other trips on the way to your Reserve Airport pick up. The app will notify you when it is time to head to the pick up destination.
- What happens when I arrive?
You will arrive for the Airport pick up when the flight lands, and will be navigated to wait in the Airport waiting area. To give your Rider enough time to exit the Airport, 60 minutes of wait time is included, starting from the flight landing time. You will receive real-time updates if the flight is delayed, with a new pick up time. Your Rider will notify you when they are ready to be picked up, then you can navigate from the waiting area to the pick up location at the Airport.
- Will I be paid for wait time?
Yes, the minimum fare for Reserve Airport pick up trips is higher than standard Reserve trips so that Driver-Partners are adequately compensated for their time. If the Rider is not ready after 60 minutes from when the flight lands, Driver-partners may cancel the trip and receive the full fare as a cancellation fee.
