Balaji Krishnamurthy is the Chief Financial Officer at Uber. In his role, he’s responsible for Uber’s financial strategy and capital allocation, as well as the company’s accounting, tax, treasury, and investor relations functions.
Earlier in his career at Uber, Balaji was the divisional CFO for Mobility and Delivery, overseeing financial performance for the company’s largest business units. He led the company’s Investor Relations team, which has consistently been recognised as best in class, with Balaji ranking as a top IR professional three times.
Balaji also serves on the Board of Directors of Waabi, an AI-first autonomous driving company. Earlier in his career, Balaji spent eight years at Goldman Sachs in equity research based in San Francisco, covering US hardware and communications technology companies.
He started his career in India, having earned a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and an MBA from Management Development Institute. Balaji holds a CFA charter.
